Santa Fe Brewing Company has a long history of barrel aging with Brettanomyces and other autochthonous yeast. In fact, our Kriek barrel-aged sour took a bronze medal at the prestigious 2014 Great American Beer Festival. In 2015 we moved the barrels out of our chicken shack and into an underground, temperature-controlled barrel cellar made entirely from recycled shipping containers.
The barrel cellar will occasionally hold tastings and can also be rented out for events. If you’re looking for a unique place to have a party or gathering, give us a call and ask about details.
